Red Robin tomato seeds produce hardy, compact dwarf plants that deliver high yields of delicious cherry tomatoes. Plants are easy to grow, and best suited for containers whether located indoors or outdoors. While Red Robin tomato plants will deliver the highest yields in outside containers, plants will set fruit in lower light indoor conditions and still deliver moderate yields of sweet cherry tomatoes.

Typically 20-30 cm (8-12″) tall, Red Robin tomato plants make an attractive, ornamental addition to any garden patio, window or balcony. Round scarlet cherry tomatoes 2.5 -4 cm (1-1 1/2″) in diameter set in tight clusters create a striking contrast with dark green potato leaves.

Manitoba Tomato seeds produce vigorous determinate plants that thrive in cool climates with short seasons. An early producer with excellent yields, Originally developed in the mid 1950’s by the Morden Experimental Farm in Morden, MB to ripen during the short summer season. An excellent choice on the West Coast.

A prairie favourite, Manitoba tomato plants bear medium-large fruits 170 grams (6 oz). The bright red fruits have smooth skin and firm, meaty flesh with a refreshing, tangy tomato taste. Well suited for slicing and preserving.

Toma Verde Tomatillo seeds are easy to grow with prolific yields of early-maturing tomatillos. Compact heirloom plants from Toma Verde tomatillo seeds are hardy and adapt well to a variety of climates. Fruits average 5 cm (2″) in diameter. Firm, uniform green fruit are wrapped in a papery husk that turns from green to tan and splits open as the fruit reaches full size and maturity. Fruits are tart when enjoyed fresh, and turn sweet when roasted. A Mexican favourite, try Toma Verde in savory sauces, snappy salsas, soups and dips. This plant works well in 5 gallon (or larger) containers, but it forms a large, somewhat sprawling bush so it benefits from some means of support like a tomato cage.

Physalis pruinosa. Sow Aunt Molly’s ground cherry seeds in the spring for a big harvest of sweet ground cherries by late summer. The plants and fruits resemble tomatillos, with each fruit growing inside a papery husk called a calyx. But fruits mature to a golden orange colour, and drop to the ground when ripe. The sweet little fruits will store for up to three months if kept in their husks, but you’ll want to use them faster than that in jams, fruit salads, and sauces. Aunt Molly’s originated in Poland and are productive in coastal gardens.

Sweet Million cherry tomato seeds are easy to grow, and hardy plants adapt well to many climates. Tall vigorous vines grow masses of gorgeous red cherry tomatoes on long trusses. This variety is the winner of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Award of Garden Merit. Sweet Million tomato plants mature early and deliver incredible yields of delicious sweet cherry tomatoes all season long. A terrific snacking tomato that’s impossible to resist!

This extremely vigorous plant needs support for climbing habit, pruning may be required for containment in smaller areas. Uniform fruits are 2.5 cm (1″) average 10-15 grams (~1/2 oz.). Sweet Million tomatoes are resistant to, or tolerant of, Fusarium Wilt (Race 1), Tomato (Tobacco) Mosaic Virus.

Carolina Gold bears high yields of uniform, orange-gold beefsteaks that are firm, meaty and have few seeds. The large 280g (10oz), crack tolerant fruits are also great tasting–sweet, mild, with low acidity. The disease resistant plants grow well in a variety of climates. This bush-type will benefit from strong support.

Choose Early Girl tomato seeds for a fast and early crop of delicious medium-sized red tomatoes. This is an early maturing variety for coastal grower. The plants keep bearing fruit heavily throughout the summer on manageable, disease resistant vines, producing baskets of tasty, 110-170g 4-6 oz) tomatoes. Early Girl is resistant to Fusarium wilt races 1 and 2. Some coastal growers choose early maturing tomatoes as a way to beat Late Blight. The disease usually strikes mid- to late summer, and by that time Early Girl has already produced the bulk of her fruit.

Super Fantastic tomato seeds produce hardy vigorous vines that adapt well to a variety of climates. Immensely popular and an excellent producer on the West Coast of BC! These rich, meaty beefsteak tomatoes are very versatile – great for slicing, canning, drying and salsas.

Many growers report that seeds from Super Fantastic tomatoes mature fairly early. Blossoms and fruit develop progressively – enjoy prolific yields of delicious sweet, juicy beefsteak tomatoes all season long. Super Fantastic tomatoes have dark red, smooth blemish free, skin. Fruits are uniform in size: 8 -10 cm (3-4″) diameter, weighing on average about 283 grams (10 oz.).

Vigorous vines grow 1.8-2.7 meters (6-9′) tall and require good caging or staking. Super Fantastic tomato seed plants are resistant to, or tolerant of, the following tomato diseases: Verticillium Wilt, Fusarium Wilt and Nematodes.

Indeterminate (vine) Matures in 85 days

An heirloom favorite, Golden Summer Crookneck has a slightly curved neck and butter yellow skin with a mild, nutty flavour. Bush plants will produce all season long if picked regularly. Best harvested at about 20cm (8″).

C. pepo. Sow Vegetable Spaghetti squash seeds for fruits that actually appear to be stuffed with cooked spaghetti. The pale yellow, oval fruits grow to 25cm (10″) on long, productive vines. Spaghetti squash seeds keep well for meals right through winter. Boil or bake the whole fruits, and then cut lengthwise down the middle. It’s then easy to fork out the fibrous interior that looks just like pasta. Enjoy it simply seasoned as is, or topped with your favourite pasta sauce. The yellow rind of this squash is smooth and very hard. After the fruits have ripened on the vines, give them a quick wipe down with a highly diluted bleach solution. If the skin is not nicked, the fruits will last for months.
