Sow seeds in successive crops every 2 weeks from April to August, as long as the weather is cool.
Harvest by pulling the entire plant or by cutting leaves 2cm above the base to encourage new leaf growth.
An early variety imported from Denmark. Heads are round ranging in size from 4 1/2 – 5 1/2 lbs. Sowing instructions: Plant seeds 0.5 inches deep indoors from February-March or directly outdoors from May-June. Transplant seedlings in May spacing plants 18-24 inches apart and rows 24-30 inches apart. Harvest in September. Maturity: 68-70 days
