Dwarf bushy plant grows 45cm high. Fruit is 15cm long and 5cm at the shoulder and slightly tapered at the bottom. Ripens from a waxy yellow to bright red. Firm, pungent flesh is good fried or pickled.
Start indoors mid February to late March in a soilless medium. Grow seedlings under bright light at 17°C. Transplant after hardening off in late May.
Keep evenly watered. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizers. Harvest after colour changes for best taste and quality.
Harvest in 65 days.
