An early variety imported from Denmark. Heads are round ranging in size from 4 1/2 – 5 1/2 lbs. Sowing instructions: Plant seeds 0.5 inches deep indoors from February-March or directly outdoors from May-June. Transplant seedlings in May spacing plants 18-24 inches apart and rows 24-30 inches apart. Harvest in September. Maturity: 68-70 days
These 75cm sturdy plants produce very mild fruit. Sweet peppers are 4 lobed and average 10cm long and 7cm wide. Thick deep green flesh ripens to a deep scarlet. Great for flavouring, pickling, stuffing, and salads.
Start indoors mid-February to late March in a soilless medium. Grow seedlings under bright light at 18°C. Transplant after hardening off in late May.
Keep evenly watered. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizers. Harvest after colour changes for the best taste and quality.
