This organic, high quality Italian heirloom has incredible flavour. San Marzano Lampadina”s elongated (4-6oz) red tomatoes have firm pulp and thick skin, perfect for canning or making sauces and paste. The vines of this traditional San Marzano type are vigorous and indeterminate. Once you taste this fantastic tomato, you’ll wish you had twice as many plants. The fruits also keep for ages due to their low water content.

Indeterminate (vine) Matures in 80 days.

Gardener’s Delight cherry tomato has a wonderful, old-fashioned flavour and produces long trusses laden with clusters of 6-12 2.5cm (1″), crack-resistant, bright-red morsels. A mid-maturity variety that can be grown in many regions without protection.

Vine (indeterminate), Matures in 65 days.

A Vietnamese-type bitter gourd, also known as balsam pear and bitter melon, Green Pearl is early to ripen its 22-30cm (9-12”) shiny green, warty fruit. Scrape the white seeds and pith out and chop into bite size pieces for use in soups and stir fries. Grow on a trellis for straight fruit

C. pepo. CERTIFIED ORGANIC! Honey Boat Organic delicata squash have longish, nearly cylindrical fruits with green bands over copper/tan skins. The flesh is deep, rich orange and very sweet. The plants grow into large bushes without much sprawl. The breeding on this variety dates back to Dr. Bagget at Oregon State University, and has been refined for several generations.

Helenor Organic rutabaga seeds are CERTIFIED ORGANIC! The colour develops early on these nice, uniform, round roots. The flesh is light orange and sweetly flavoured. Helenor is an excellent choice for fall and winter harvests.

Rutabagas are surprisingly versatile in the kitchen and are widely used around the northern hemisphere. They can be julienned and eaten raw as a side salad, or roasted, boiled, or grilled. Many recipes call for mashing rutabagas after cooking, and the classic Scottish dish neeps and tatties combines them with mashed potato. It is a useful winter source of vitamin C, and the roots will store for months.

Pearl is the perfect name for this classy, refined, pure white radish. Pearl holds its round shape better than other white varieties, even in less-than-optimal conditions. Mild flavour with a hint of heat. Strong tops for easy harvest and bunching.

Unique for its netted, pale orange skin, Winter Luxury is known for making the smoothest pumpkin pies. The high dry matter of the flesh is what sets these apart from other pie varieties. So pretty you can use them for displays. 2.25-3kg (5-7lb) fruit. Full vine plants.

King of the North Organic is one of the most reliable and productive bell peppers for northern gardens. It is known for its ability to produce substantial, blocky peppers in short, cool seasons. The plants are sturdy and upright, with thick-walled, lobed fruits that ripen from bright green to vivid red and get even sweeter as they do.

Matures in 70 days.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC. Slender, deep purple fruit with thin skin and mildly sweet flesh. The 15cm (6″) fruits have very few seeds and grow in clusters. Best harvested young when skins are glossy, the tender fruits cook quickly and are also suitable for pickling. This early and productive eggplant is adapted for year-round growing and is a good choice for container growing.

Matures in 60-70 days

An Italian multi-cut broccoli that produces a small main head followed by an abundance of tender sideshoots. Cut Di Cicco’s 8-10cm (3-4″) blue-green, central head to induce the production of sideshoots and keep them cut to extend the harvest. Best for spring and fall production, the initial head will be looser than standard heading types and with more variation of floret size than other sprouting varieties. Excellent fresh, and a very good choice for freezing. Di Cicco can also be used for a fast microgreen. This is an old European heirloom that has been in cultivation since 1890.
Matures in 48 days.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC! These tall, hardy plants produce seven to eight highly uniform, nearly spineless buds in the first growing season. The buds are sweet and tender. Imperial Star Organic artichoke seeds are a great choice for the home gardener or for open field production. The plants grow 90-120cm (36-48″) tall. This variety is sometimes listed under the name Tavor. It’s a bit easier to get first-season harvests from Imperial Star than some of the other artichoke varieties, but it is also perennial, so it will produce for several years to come. The buds are a terrific mid-summer treat.
