Tomato – Rosella – Seeds By Emma
$2.75I fell in love with this tomato last summer! It’s a small cherry tomato that is fruity, smoky, and superbly sweet with a nice balance of acidity, which makes it so addictive to snack on. The beautiful pink/purple tomatoes come on massive trusses that hang down the plant. Indeterminate. Mid-season maturity.

Tomato – Lithium Sunset – Seeds By Emma
$2.75I hadn’t heard very much about this tomato and didn’t have very high expectations going into last summer, but I was impressed! Not only were the red and yellow stripes on the flattened and ribbed beefsteak striking, but the production of just 1 plant was amazing! The flesh is both red and yellow, juicy, sweet and has a great flavour. Indeterminate. Mid-season maturity. Bred by Artisan Seeds.

Tomato – Blue Gold Berries – Seeds By Emma
$2.75One of the prettiest tomatoes I’ve grown! The fruit ripen to yellow with beautiful purple shoulders… they look more like an exotic candy than a tomato! The mild flavour is good— not my favourite since I prefer a sweeter tomato and these tend to have a bit more acidity, but they are quite popular among garden visitors. Indeterminate. Mid-season maturity.

Tomato – Black Cherry – Seeds By Emma
$2.75This one of the most well-known “black” tomatoes, and for good reason. Vigorous plants produce lots of large 1” brown/mahogany cherry tomatoes, which you will be glad of when you pop one into your mouth. They have the flavour that this colour of tomato is prized for– sweet, rich, and complex. Good disease resistance, and don’t crack on the vine. Indeterminate. Early to mid season maturity.

Pepper – Capriglio Yellow Matchbox
$2.00The yellow cousin to the Capriglio Red, I found this Italian heirloom while at the 2010 Slow Food Conference in Torino, Italy. I was so taken by this pepper that I just had to bring it home to grow out and take to market. Plants reach 2 – 21/2 feet tall and produce high yields of incredibly sweet and flavourful fruits that average 3-4″ at the shoulder and 3″ long. Our kids can’t get enough of them, they rarely make it to the kitchen. When they do however, they make great stuffed peppers. This is a great pepper for first time pepper growers as well. This pepper has been designated a Slow Food Italy Ark Of Taste
