The yellow cousin to the Capriglio Red, I found this Italian heirloom while at the 2010 Slow Food Conference in Torino, Italy. I was so taken by this pepper that I just had to bring it home to grow out and take to market. Plants reach 2 – 21/2 feet tall and produce high yields of incredibly sweet and flavourful fruits that average 3-4″ at the shoulder and 3″ long. Our kids can’t get enough of them, they rarely make it to the kitchen. When they do however, they make great stuffed peppers. This is a great pepper for first time pepper growers as well. This pepper has been designated a Slow Food Italy Ark Of Taste
