Indeterminate yellow cherry tomato that is easy to grow and early to mature. Sweet Gold produces heavy yields of small, 10-15g (.35-.5oz) fruit growing in single and double clusters. Toma Verde Tomatillo seeds are easy to grow with prolific yields of early-maturing tomatillos. Compact heirloom plants from Toma Verde tomatillo seeds are hardy and adapt well to a variety of climates. Fruits average 5 cm (2″) in diameter. Hot pink to magenta stems and veins with dark jade coloured foliage, Magenta Sunset is a beauty among the chards. Magenta Sunset Swiss chard seeds are grown primarily for immature salad greens as it tends to bolt during summer heat. The leaves are smooth, and the stalks are narrow, even at full size. Kept in check, it will produce abundant nutritious leaves with a mild earthy flavour. Sow again in August for a fall harvest or for decorative, 60cm (24″) tall plants. Swiss chard is absolutely packed with vitamins, minerals, and dietary fibre.

The standard for rainbow chard, Bright Lights is a mix of many colours including red, pink, orange, yellow, and white. Leaf colour ranges from glossy bright green to dark green and bronze. You can choose the colours you’d like to grow out when thinning or start indoors to transplant the combination of your choosing. Suitable for growing all season long with good tolerance to bolting. Less frost hardy than other chard varieties.

This pretty pink kabocha can be used for eating and decorating. Pink Panther’s salmon pink skin encloses thick, flavourful flesh that is a bright orange colour. Flattened and ribbed 1.25-1.75kg (3-5lb) fruit stacks well for fall displays. Full size vines produce good yields of these refined, high quality squash.

An heirloom favorite, Golden Summer Crookneck has a slightly curved neck and butter yellow skin with a mild, nutty flavour. Bush plants will produce all season long if picked regularly. Best harvested at about 20cm (8″).

C. pepo. Sow Vegetable Spaghetti squash seeds for fruits that actually appear to be stuffed with cooked spaghetti. The pale yellow, oval fruits grow to 25cm (10″) on long, productive vines. Spaghetti squash seeds keep well for meals right through winter. Boil or bake the whole fruits, and then cut lengthwise down the middle. It’s then easy to fork out the fibrous interior that looks just like pasta. Enjoy it simply seasoned as is, or topped with your favourite pasta sauce. The yellow rind of this squash is smooth and very hard. After the fruits have ripened on the vines, give them a quick wipe down with a highly diluted bleach solution. If the skin is not nicked, the fruits will last for months.
